Our Story
Hi, I’m Kayla — baker, watercolor artist, and author — and the heart behind Tiki Cove. Writing is another extension of my creativity. My books are inspired by the same things that shape my baking and art — coastal living, community, humor, and the beauty found in everyday routines. Whether it’s a cookbook or a personal story, each book is created to feel warm, relatable, and lived-in. Today I focus on small-batch baking made with exceptional ingredients and a whole lot of heart.
If you pick up an order, you might notice my garden towers growing on the front porch — that’s where I snip herbs like basil for our Tomato-Basil Sourdough Loaf. I’m an artist at heart, so creativity flows through everything I make, whether it’s a loaf of bread, a gift box, or a piece of art meant to be lived with and loved.

Ingredient Philosophy
We favor simple, recognizable ingredients — unbleached 00 Italian flours, pasture-raised eggs, grass-fed butter, cold-pressed avocado oil, pure sugars, and mineral salt. Fresh herbs come from our porch grow towers whenever possible. Flavor comes from good ingredients, patience, and time.
Meet the Artist Side
Between bakes, you’ll find me painting coastal cottages, piers, pelicans, and everyday moments in my signature sea-glass palette. I create watercolor prints, cards, and cheerful art pieces designed to bring warmth and joy into everyday spaces.
